Another Meraki event complete, waking up to a deep fog we came from all over the UK to meet up at the National Trust Shuttleworth.
A complete trust with beautiful gardens, a college, a period manor and paddocks containing a large history of flying and motoring vehicles kept between 4 large hangers.
We had a good turn out with a large variety of cars – new and old, little and small, from seat Arosa to the new RS3 and even classics like the Beetle which was enriched with history.
The sun soon rose up and turned it into a beautiful day with a lovely back drop for our media team in every direction _ paddocks one way, nice greenery another, and a constant flow of planes taking off and landing behind.
Our team and Dapper Detail found it hard to pin point a clear 3 cars to win some lovely prizes supplied by ourselves and Dapper Detailing for the Top 3. We eventually narrowed it down, taking every car into consideration. We decided to have 3 cars of a total different variety.
In third place, we had a classic beetle enriched with character and stories named Emily. She was the owners first car many many years ago and today still runs and drives how she did when he first picked her up.
In second place, a lovely Seat Arosa which we don’t see every day with vibrant red paintwork and was built beautifully.
And finally in first place, a very clean, monotone Mini which was in pristine condition and with subtle but effect modifications was a real looked after and loved car.
But not to take anything away from anyone every build new or old, it really showed the true meaning of Meraki. “Meraki is used by Greeks to describe scenarios when a person has really put a part of themselves into something”.
Then we rounded off the day with some personal and group photos. We're glad people went home or onto Caffeine & Machine happy and excited about the next chapter for Meraki Automotive.
Myself and the team would like to thank everyone who came and supported this event and we look forward to seeing you at future events!
Thanks Paul, Siobhan, Karl and the rest of team Meraki

With a mixed Bag of weather we ventured to the Sharnbrook Hotel thanks to Ciro and his team at Petrolheadism. It was cold but dry with sunny spells and some seriously amazing builds from all over, British builds, Euro Builds, Jap Builds and even max power builds. We brought everything together at one place with an absolutely lovely spread from the team at Sharnbrook that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles would have loved. Again we’d like to thank everyone who came to this event and for the support and the purchases made, and a huge thank you to Cult 86 for bringing some banging G86 builds – we appreciate it and hope to see you again soon.
Thanks again to the Media team of Tara (taramphotography), Kyle (kjsphotography), Liam (liam_j_mason_auto) and Joesph (joseph_s_media) some stunning work on instagram.
